The ninth meeting of the Małopolska Regional Development Observatories and Evaluation Council took place on the 6th of December. The meeting was devoted to the Observatories research plan for 2012.
The meeting was chaired by the Vicemarshal of the Malopolska Region - Roman Ciepiela and, it was attended, for the first time, by prof. dr hab. Tadeusz Kudłacz and dr Marcin Zawicki from the Cracow University of Economics – new members of the Council.
The Observatories managers presented the research plans for 2012. Vicemarshal Roman Ciepiela recalled the Observatories contribution (in the area of research) to the preparation of the Malopolska Regional Development Strategy 2011-2020. The members of the Council also discussed the impact of the economic crisis in Europe on the economy and society of Malopolska.
An important element of the Malopolska Regional Development Observatories for the next year will be participation in preparing the region for the new EU financial perspective.
